Troubles applying a mending plate?

It keeps bending/bouncing/deflecting because it is no longer structurally sound. It needs to either be replaced or you need to reinforce it by nailing the same size piece of lumber onto it. Simply measure the existing beam and cut a piece to those measurements, then nail it into place. This will fix the immediate problem by transferring the load to the new beam. After you do this have a licensed home inspector or a licensed contractor come look at your roof to make sure there isn't a larger problem that caused the beam to split in the first place.

Accidental or genuine signs?

Ok so I really like this guy and he tends to flirt with everbody without knowing what he's doing. Like hes so genuinely sweet he'll tell a girl she looks pretty and be completely oblivious to the fact he's leading her on. But to me he's mire flirty and he always hugs me and makes excuses to touch my face and dies that fake kiss thing where you put your hand over their mouth and kiss your hand.. Just to see my reaction. Does he like me or are these signs accidental?

The rainforests are getting destroyed as we speak, oil spillages, bad government's, tyrants, suppression, is there any way we can mend what we've done to this planet? Or has it gone beyond that now?

The last two times a major sport lost games because of labor issues, the league's glory franchise rebounded from years of mediocrity to go on a championship-winning binge (after hiring a new coach). The Cowboys just hired a new coach and right now is mired in mediocrity.

Do you have a suggestion on a sewing machine, ladies..?

I'm would like to buy a sewing machine for basically hemming straight lines only, as in making some simple curtains and small repairs. Do you use a sewing machine you would recommend that is not overly expensive that will take care of doing basic sewing and mending, nothing fancy. I will not be using it for heavy material like denim jeans. Are machines that are around 100.00 or so so good quality or not? Any suggestions on where to buy or brands, or model numbers I could look up would be appreciated.

In the morning and the evening before school what can I do to mak myself look slimmer and mire beautiful? Like what can I do in the evening before school and what can i do between 6:30 and 7:30?

I really don't understand Christianity?

I am an ardent atheist (just to clear the air haha). And i was talking to a few christians in the own where I live about christianity and about what they believe, about the trinity, and the existence of god, and a lot of their arguments seemed to be mired in words and terms. Now they seemed pretty stupid people anyway, (they said if you go to areas where there is more catholicism, there is more crime; and that homosexuality didn't exist before the 50s) so can someone explain to me properly the concept of the trinity, of where Adam and Eve fit into it all, and how your sure it's your god up there? I don't mean offense, but there must be a coherent view that I just ain't getting.
